Supporting Toneriko
Thank you for opening this page. Toneriko is a personal project I started to help people find local support. Any kind of help means a lot.

ABOUT TONERIKO
What is Toneriko?
A free service for finding NPOs and local organizations, built on Cabinet Office data. You can ask AI, browse by region, or print QR flyers to hand to someone. It connects people who need help with people who can provide it.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Three Ways to Help
All three are equally helpful. Whatever you can do, whenever you can.
Share Data
If you have contact info for local organizations, please share it. Every piece of data helps this tree grow.
- Any format works — CSV, Excel, PDF, or even a simple email
- Organization name plus phone, email, or website is enough
- Even a single organization's contact info makes a difference
- Addresses are published only to the city/ward level; street-level details are not disclosed without the organization's consent
Financial Support
AI operations and data maintenance cost money every month. If you can, we'd appreciate your support.
- From ¥500/month — the price of a coffee to sustain information infrastructure
- One-time donations are also welcome
- All spending is transparently published each month
Spread the Word
Just telling someone about Toneriko can make a big difference.
- Share on social media or mention to colleagues
- Place QR flyers at your reception desk or lobby
- Feature in meetings or newsletters
CURRENT STATUS
Where We Stand
Of all active NPOs registered with the Cabinet Office, only a small fraction have published contact info. Filling that gap is our biggest challenge.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How will the data I provide be used?
It will be registered in Toneriko's database and used solely to provide information to citizens seeking support. We credit the source and never sell or share data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What data formats do you accept?
CSV, Excel, PDF, or even plain text in an email. As long as it includes an organization name and at least one contact method (phone, email, or website), we can work with it.
Who runs Toneriko?
Hiromi Gotō, chief priest of Kōrenji Temple in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, runs Toneriko as a personal project. He also serves as a board member of the Kani City NPO Association, but Toneriko is not affiliated with either organization.
Is user privacy protected?
Toneriko uses no cookies and requires no user accounts. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless, for access measurement.
What are the benefits of institutional partnership?
When local information infrastructure improves, it becomes easier for residents to find support on their own — reducing the burden on consultation desks and improving referral efficiency for your organization.
How much address detail is published?
To protect organizations' safety, Toneriko displays locations only at the prefecture and city/ward level by default. Street-level addresses are stored internally but are not published on the website unless the organization explicitly requests it.

TOGETHER
A small tree alone, but with help, it grows.
Every bit of support helps reach another community and connect another person with the help they need.
