I personally have family members with disabilities, and I have experienced firsthand how difficult it is to find information about NPO and civic organization activities, as well as welfare and medical services. "I don't know where to ask for help" and "information isn't organized even when I search" — these experiences became the starting point for Toneriko.

Through daily interactions with community members, I realized that many people share similar struggles. Worries about child-rearing, exhaustion from caregiving, anxieties about daily life — people are dealing with these alone, unaware that places for consultation exist. Every time I encountered such voices, I felt a stronger need for a system to connect information.

Through my work as a board member of Kani City NPO Association, I also came to see that this challenge is a structural problem that cannot be solved by individual effort alone. Dedicated organizations in communities and the people who need their support are not connecting well — the information infrastructure between them is lacking.

Drawing on these experiences, I studied information management and AI, and launched Toneriko as a personal project. Through organizing public information starting with the Cabinet Office NPO database, cooperation from like-minded supporters, and the power of technology, we aim for "a society where the right information reaches the right people."
