Toneriko (hereinafter "the Service") is a service for searching local NPOs, civic organizations, and support activities, operated by Hiromi Goto (hereinafter "the Operator") as a personal project. The handling of data in the Service is defined as follows.
1.Information We Collect
Organization Registration Information
Information submitted through the organization registration form (organization name, activity category, location, contact email, website URL, etc.) is stored in our database (Supabase). Registered information is published after admin review.
Community Needs
Information submitted through the "Share Your Voice" form on the search page (prefecture, need, comment) is stored. This information is collected anonymously — no IP addresses or other personally identifiable information is collected.
Search Queries
Keywords and filter conditions entered during searches are processed on the server to generate search results, but are not stored in the database.
Information Stored in Your Browser
The Clip (favorites) feature and search history are stored in your browser's localStorage. This information is not sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.
2.Purpose of Use
- Providing, operating, and improving the Service
- Enriching support organization information (including data received from Social Welfare Councils, etc.)
- Statistical analysis (to understand regional needs trends in a non-personally-identifiable manner)
3.Disclosure to Third Parties
Regarding Public Organization Information
Public information of registered organizations (organization name, activities, location, activity locations, etc.) may be shared with public agencies such as municipalities, Social Welfare Councils, and NPO support centers for the public benefit of connecting people in need with support.
Toneriko aims to become an open information platform where local support information can be utilized by society as a whole. We are working toward open-sourcing the database in the future, building systems that allow more agencies to safely utilize the data.
- Recipients and dates of provision are recorded and published on a transparency page
- Contact information (email, phone) is shared only with the organization's consent
- Information is never provided to third parties for commercial purposes
Regarding Submitters' Personal Information
Information about submitters themselves entered in the organization registration form (name, contact details, motivation for submission, etc.) is used solely for internal verification and communication. It will never be shared externally, except as required by law.

* Only organization information (public data) is sent to AI APIs. Users' personal information is not sent.
* Credit card information is processed directly by Stripe and does not pass through our servers.
5.Cookies & Tracking
This Service does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). We use the browser's localStorage to store Clip data and search history, but this information is never sent to our servers and is retained only within your browser.
6.Data Management
Collected information is managed responsibly by the Operator. All communication with the Service is encrypted via SSL (TLS).
7.Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as needed. Updated policies take effect upon publication on this page.
